What it is

Slash removal — clean lots, honest disposal.

Slash is everything left behind after a logging operation, a storm, or a long cleanup push — limbs, tops, blowdown, old burn piles that never quite went away. Let it sit and it turns into a fire hazard, a habitat for rodents, and an eyesore when it’s time to sell or build. We clean it up for good.

Depending on volume and access, we chip it into ground-cover mulch, burn it safely under a permitted burn plan, or haul it off. No half-measures, no stalled piles sitting through a dry August — just a finished lot you can walk, build on, or put on the market.

A 90-second look at how we work.

Family-owned and operated in North Idaho. Licensed, bonded, insured — and Joey walks every job himself.

Our Process

Four steps from first call to finished work.

No games, no mystery pricing, no “we’ll see when we get there”. Here’s how every Premier job runs.

Walk the land

We come out, walk the property with you, and understand what you’re trying to get done. Free, no pressure.

Straight quote

You get a written quote with scope, timeline, and price — in days, not weeks. No bait-and-switch.

Do the work

We show up when we said we would and run the job with our own crew and equipment. You stay informed.

Walk it again

Final walk-through. If something isn’t right, we fix it before we invoice. That’s our guarantee.

What you get

The difference is in how it’s done.

Chipping on site

We bring a chipper and turn clean woody slash into ground-cover mulch. No haul fees, no burn piles.

Permitted burning, done safely

When burning is the right call, we help pull the permit and run the burn with water on site.

Haul-off when you want it gone

Trailers and a grapple truck for material that can’t be chipped or burned — gone for good.

Post-logging landing cleanup

We come in behind loggers and clean the landing, skid trails, and decks so the ground is usable again.

Storm and blowdown cleanup

Windthrow, snow-break, beetle kill — we clear the hazard material and leave the lot walkable.

Off the ground before summer

Dry slash piles become a hazard during North Idaho’s fire season. Cleaning them up in spring keeps your property safer and cleaner through the dry months.

When to call us

When slash removal is the right call.

Post-logging cleanupYour timber sale is done and there’s a mountain of slash sitting on the landing.

Storm or wind eventBlowdown, snow-break, or beetle kill left hazard material all over the property.
Before building or sellingThe lot looks rough and the debris has to go before buyers or inspectors show up.

Questions

Slash Removal — answered.

What’s the difference between slash removal and brush removal?

Brush removal takes the standing vegetation — shrubs, small trees, overgrowth. Slash removal cleans up what’s already on the ground — logging debris, burn piles, blowdown, storm debris.

Can you chip everything?

Most clean woody material, yes. Rotten or dirt-packed material doesn’t chip cleanly and is better burned or hauled. We’ll advise on-site.

Do you handle burn permits?

We help you apply for the burn permit and we run the burn safely — but the permit is issued to the landowner. We’ll walk you through it.

What about hazardous material mixed in?

Nails, fencing, tires, treated lumber — that can’t go in a chipper or a burn pile. We separate and haul it to appropriate disposal at additional cost.

How long does a typical cleanup take?

Small residential slash piles, a half to full day. Post-logging cleanup on a 10-acre harvest, 2 to 5 days depending on volume. We quote after walking the site.
