Land Clearing for Home Sites and Property Improvement
Tree removal, stump grinding, lot beautification, and construction-ready clearing across North Idaho.
Land Clearing — done right, done once.
Land clearing is the broad category: everything between “this lot has trees and brush on it” and “this lot is ready for whatever comes next.” It can mean tree removal, stump extraction, debris haul-off, and regrading — or any combination of those.
We clear lots for home builds, lot beautification, pasture conversion, commercial development, and view improvement. We don’t default to one method — we tailor the approach to what the property, the permits, and the budget actually need.
Four ways we clear land.
Not every lot needs the same approach. We match the method to the property, the permit situation, and what you’re trying to end up with.
Slash-and-burn
Cut, pile, and burn on-site where permits and conditions allow. Fast and economical on rural lots with burn-pile access.
Saw-and-haul
Cut, process, and haul debris off-site. Right choice where burning isn’t allowed or the lot is close to neighbors.
Excavator with a grapple
For heavier work: pushing over, stacking, stump extraction, and moving large material. Often paired with one of the other methods.
Full logging operation
On properties with marketable timber, we run a logging operation and sell the logs. Clients can recoup some or all of the clearing cost through log loads.
A 90-second look at how we work.
Family-owned and operated in North Idaho. Licensed, bonded, insured — and Joey walks every job himself.
Four steps from first call to finished work.
No games, no mystery pricing, no “we’ll see when we get there”. Here’s how every Premier job runs.
Walk the land
We come out, walk the property with you, and understand what you’re trying to get done. Free, no pressure.
Straight quote
You get a written quote with scope, timeline, and price — in days, not weeks. No bait-and-switch.
Do the work
We show up when we said we would and run the job with our own crew and equipment. You stay informed.
Walk it again
Final walk-through. If something isn’t right, we fix it before we invoice. That’s our guarantee.
The difference is in how it’s done.
Whole-lot approach
Trees, stumps, debris, slash — all of it.
Right tool for each job
Mulcher, saw, excavator, grapple — we have the equipment.
Topsoil preserved when possible
We don’t strip organic material you might want.
Hauling or on-site disposal
Whatever the site and permits allow.
Situations we solve every week.
The right method for the lot.
Method fits the lot, not the truck
We don’t default to one method. Some crews only mulch; some only saw and burn. We pick the approach that fits the lot, the permit situation, and the budget.
Stumps included, not left behind
Stumps are handled. Most of the cheaper land clearing quotes leave stumps in place — we tell you up front what’s included and what isn’t.
Clean, build-ready finish
Clean finish. When we leave, the lot is ready for the next crew to arrive.
Ballpark pricing — starting ranges.
Every property is different. The numbers below are typical North Idaho ranges — your actual quote depends on access, site conditions, and scope.

Land Clearing — answered.
Do you remove stumps?
Yes — we grind or extract stumps as part of clearing scopes where they’re called out. They’re usually priced separately from the tree removal itself.
What do you do with the slash and debris?
Options: mulch on site, burn pile (with permit), haul off. We walk through options with you during the estimate.
Can you save specific trees?
Absolutely. Mark the trees you want kept, and we work around them. This is common on view lots and home sites.
Will clearing affect the soil?
We work to preserve topsoil where the plan calls for it. Heavy clearing can compact or expose soil — we regrade and reseed if that’s part of the scope.
